NovaSoft Labs – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all mobile applications, websites, platforms, and digital services owned or operated by NovaSoft Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”). These include, but are not limited to, ChopLite, ShopLinkNaija, GlamBook, FixItNaija, WakawakaMan, JapaConnect, EventPulse, and all future products (collectively, the “Services”).

By downloading, accessing, or using any NovaSoft Labs Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years old or are using the Services under the supervision of a legal guardian.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. About NovaSoft Labs

NovaSoft Labs is the parent company responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of multiple consumer-facing and business-facing digital platforms. Each app or service may have specific features, requirements, or policies, but these Terms apply across all.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login details.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept full responsibility for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
• Use the Services for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Interfere with platform operations, security, or performance.
• Upload harmful, misleading, or infringing content.
• Attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or exploit our software.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, vendors, riders, or service providers.

Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.

5. Platform-Specific Rules

Because NovaSoft Labs operates multiple platforms, you acknowledge that:

A. Marketplace Platforms (ChopLite, ShopLinkNaija, FixItNaija, GlamBook, WakawakaMan)

• We connect customers with independent vendors, professionals, or runners.
• Vendors and professionals are responsible for the quality, safety, and performance of their services.
• We are not liable for actions, omissions, or conduct of third-party vendors.
• Prices, delivery times, and service quality are controlled by vendors, not NovaSoft Labs.

B. Migration & Educational Platforms (JapaConnect)

• Information provided is for general guidance only.
• NovaSoft Labs is not an immigration agency and provides no legal immigration guarantees.
• Users must verify requirements independently.

C. Events & Ticketing Platforms (EventPulse)

• NovaSoft Labs sells tickets on behalf of organizers.
• Organizers are solely responsible for event quality, refunds, schedule changes, and cancellations.

6. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Payments made through our Services may be processed by third-party payment gateways.

You agree that:
• You will provide accurate billing and payment information.
• Transaction fees, vendor fees, subscription fees, and commissions may apply.
• Refunds, when applicable, follow the refund policy of the specific app or vendor.
• NovaSoft Labs is not responsible for disputes between users and vendors unless required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within our Services, including logos, graphics, software, trademarks, and interfaces, is owned or licensed by NovaSoft Labs.

Users may not:
• Copy, sell, distribute, or create derivative works.
• Use our branding without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Our platforms may integrate with or link to third parties, including:
• Payment processors
• Mapping and location services
• Social media platforms
• Vendor systems

We are not responsible for third-party actions, privacy practices, or content.

9. Location and Device Permissions

Some features require access to:
• GPS location
• Camera
• Photos
• Device storage
• Notifications

You can disable permissions at any time, but doing so may limit functionality.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovaSoft Labs is not liable for:
• Service interruptions
• Loss of data
• Vendor or service provider actions
• Delivery delays
• Injuries or damages caused by third parties
• Unauthorized account access
• Financial losses resulting from misuse of the Services

Your use is at your own risk.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
• uninterrupted service
• error-free operation
• accuracy of information
• availability of vendors, drivers, or service providers

12. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if:
• You violate these Terms
• Fraud or suspicious activity is detected
• Required by law or regulatory bodies

You may also delete your account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, unless local regulations require otherwise for users in other countries.

14. Changes to Terms

NovaSoft Labs may update these Terms periodically.
Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
